Today we had a ribbon cutting to celebrate our garden becoming an official school yard habitat. Carol Heiser from the DGIF presented us with a certificate and Tony Borash, lead science teacher for ACPS, had the honors of cutting the ribbon with the help of two second grade students. Then the guests and 2nd and 3rd grade students went on a scavenger hunt to find currently blooming plants.
