Last night was our 2nd annual Glow Run. A culminating event for the after school running club program, the Glow Run raised money for our PTO as well as emphasized physical fitness and community support. What a great turn out by the whole Crozet Community...over 330 participants! Each registrant received a day-glow yellow T-shirt, a glow bracelet, and a glow necklace. Kids ran around the scenic running club course for as long as they wanted, as fast as they wanted, with friends or family or on their own. Before the event participants played soccer, played on the playground, wandered through the rain garden habitat, and ran through an obstacle course set up by parent Mary Miller. After the run, there was a dance party and DJ. The event was highlighted in PTO Today.
Kindergarten students came out with clipboards and drawing paper to make observations in the habitat today.
